What Can You Sell?

We accept a wide range of brands, including but not limited to: High-End Brands: Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Fendi, Gucci, Max Mara, Hermès. Contemporary Brands: Ganni, Sandro, MAJE, Claudie Pierlot, Anine Bing, APC. We ask all items are cleaned and in good condition to sell with us. Any items requiring dry cleaning will be charged to the items sale price. 

Authenticity

All items sold by Elite Pre-loved are thoroughly inspected and authenticated. We use AI technology through Entrupy, as well as our company having over 65+ years trading experience, we are the industry leaders in spotting genuine/counterfeit items. Any items believed to be counterfeit will be discarded/ destroyed. 

Pricing & Costs

We aim to authenticate and price all items within 48 hours of receipt. Once priced, the seller will receive an email breakdown of each item and its sale price. This will show our commission and the amount you will get back for the item when sold at full price. We generally work on a 50% commission structure. This is reduced down to 20% for more expensive items such as handbags, accessories and jewellery. Please contact us for more information. 

We aim to sell all items at full price within 6–8 weeks. After this period, items may be discounted to encourage a sale, with a reduction of up to 20% after 6–8 weeks and up to 50% after 3 months. If the item remains unsold after 4 months and has not been requested for return, we will apply further reductions to promote a sale.

The sale of a discounted item will not affect the commission structure applied to it. Additionally, a handling charge is applied to all items we receive: £5 for items with a sale price under £99 and £10 for items priced at £100 or above. Please note that handling charges are fixed based on the item's initial sale price and will not be reduced if the item is discounted.

Payments

Once your items are sold, the money will be added to your account with us. You will be emailed on the 1st of each month with an updated account balance, this will also show what items have been sold. 

We pay our customers via bank transfer or cash in-store. Bank transfers are carried out every Thursday, you can request a transfer via WhatsApp or email. Large cash payments must also be requested as we do not hold large volumes of cash in store. 

If you are paid for an item that is later found to be counterfeit you will surrender this payment back to Elite Pre-loved. 

Drop-off & House Calls

Items can be dropped off in our Altrincham & Manchester Stores, as well as online via postage. We also carry out a house call service.

Customer Agreement

By consigning with Elite Pre-loved, you agree to our company’s Terms and Conditions. Under our agreement, we do not take ownership of any items consigned with us. All items are consigned for a term of 4 months, during which you are responsible for requesting their return if they have not sold. If an item remains unsold after 4 months, despite extended reductions, we will contact you to arrange collection. Should the items not be collected within 2 months of this notification, we reserve the right to donate them to a charity of our choice.

Ownership

You, as the owner, confirm that you are the rightful owner of all items consigned to Elite Pre-loved. You agree to indemnify and hold Elite Pre-loved harmless from any claims, demands, losses, or legal actions arising from unlawful ownership. Elite Pre-loved acts solely as an agent, and the title of the item remains with you at all times. Any amount exceeding the recorded selling price is retained by Elite Pre-loved as commission. Additionally, if law enforcement suspects your items are stolen, we are obligated to share relevant information without prior notice to you.

Selling prices are based on the condition, saleability, and demand for items. We strive to get you the best return possible and give you great service while doing so.

Items accepted may be displayed on our website and other online platforms. They will also be displayed for sale in our stores and any pop-ups we are currently affiliated with.
